Our story
You’re invited to our wedding because we know you and love you and you know us and love us. That said, you may not know how we met. Eleven (!!) years ago, we worked for the same person, doing very different things. We started hanging out as pals - seeing movies together, going out for drinks with coworkers, and chatting. As you might imagine, Lauren did more chatting than Janson did. One night in April, a kiss happened, and here we are.
Lost Valley
Come to our wedding! It will be Saturday, in the evening, at Lost Valley.
We will have a ceremony, a lil’ cocktail hour, the longest dinner you’ve ever attended, and then we’ll go down to the beach for a bonfire.
Cocktail attire. Dress up, be fancy! Wear shoes that you can walk on slatted wood in, because you will be.
We’d love for you to wear solid colors (no prints) in neutral shades of black, navy blue, khaki, greys, or olive green. (You can obviously wear a white shirt.)
Bring a bag with cozy clothes to change into for the bonfire. It will be a little chilly down in the sand by the water so think jeans, sneakers, big sweaters, a blanket. It’s also possible it will be summertime warm, so check the weather and pack accordingly! We’ll have places you can change.
There is no parking at Lost Valley. If you are driving, please park at Montgomery Inn or near the mail boxes at the end of Fruitvale Road and take the shuttle.
We’ll have a shuttle van from Montgomery Inn & the cul-de-sac for arrival convenience.
Stay & Do
We’ll have a shuttle to/from Montgomery Inn on Saturday evening. If you book here, just let them know you’re with the wedding.
Cute inn in downtown Montague, walkable to White Lake.
There are Airbnb & VRBO options in the area. We have a short list of places nearby, but you can also search for your own. The drive around White Lake can be annoyingly long, so we recommend looking along the north side of White Lake.
